High-Flow Cold Air Intake

Cooler. Denser. More Oxygen. More Horsepower & Torque.

Cold Air Intake Assembly

Why Cold Air Matters

Our Cold Air Intake is engineered to pull in air that’s significantly cooler and denser than stock systems. Cooler air packs more oxygen molecules per cubic inch—translating to superior combustion efficiency. The result? Noticeable gains in both horsepower and torque. By relocating the filter out of the hot engine bay and using mandrel-bent tubing, you’ll feel a sharper throttle response, a thunderous induction roar, and power where you want it.

  • Higher Air Density: Cooler intake air means more oxygen to burn, letting your V8 gulp in more fuel for raw, untamed power.
  • Improved Combustion Efficiency: Denser air/fuel mix burns stronger, giving you a torque punch off the line.
  • Reusable High-Flow Filter: Washable, oiled-cotton media traps grit while maximizing airflow—built to last through quarter-mile launches.
  • Mandrel-Bent Tubing: Smooth, kink-free aluminum tubing cuts turbulence and backpressure, delivering a straight shot of air.
  • Track-Tested & Dyno-Proven: Calibrated for rock-steady MAF readings without spiking a CEL—fully street-legal in most states.

How It Works

1. Cooler, Denser Air Intake

By relocating the filter outside the scorching engine bay, our design taps into true ambient air. Cooler air is denser—packed with oxygen molecules—letting your engine burn a richer, more explosive mixture.

2. High-Flow Filtration

The washable, oiled-cotton filter rips through dust and debris with minimal restriction. More airflow means your V8 inhales deeply, delivering a raw intake roar on full throttle.

3. Mandrel-Bent Tubing

Smooth-bent aluminum tubing cuts turbulence and maintains laminar flow. The MAF sensor sees a clean, consistent airflow signal—ensuring rock-solid fuel delivery and ignition timing.

4. Enhanced Combustion & Power

Denser, oxygen-rich air/fuel mixture ignites with surgical precision. Expect gains up to +15 HP and +20 lb-ft of torque (varies by application), plus a savage throttle response that shakes the pavement.

Installation & Maintenance

  1. Remove Factory Airbox: Unclip the stock airbox lid, pull out the paper filter and tubing from the throttle body.
  2. Install Tubing: Bolt the mandrel-bent tube onto the throttle body flange using the supplied silicone coupler and heavy-duty clamps.
  3. Position Filter & Shield: Place the conical filter in the custom heat shield (or fender-well mount). Seal it tight to keep scorching under-hood air at bay.
  4. Secure All Connections: Tighten clamps, double-check clearances (steering arms, hood latch). Reconnect any vacuum lines or MAF sensor wiring if equipped.
  5. Routine Care: Every 20K–30K miles (or sooner off-road), pull the filter, wash with intake-specific cleaner, let dry, and re-oil per instructions. Inspect tubing for cracks or loose clamps.
