For a car to run normally, the power of the engine must be transmitted to the wheels; but first, it must be connected to the engine through the transmission and pressure plate.
The power of the engine is transmitted to the pressure plate, and the pressure plate transmits the power to the clutch plate (also called friction Plate), the clutch plate is transmitted to the transmission.
The release bearing controls the power "cutting off" between the transmission and the engine.
