Why DPF and EGR Delete Together?

The factory EGR and DPF are an integrated emission control system; combining the modifications maximizes benefits:

• EGR's side effect is generating large amounts of soot: EGR recirculates exhaust gas to reduce NOx, but produces lots of black soot.
• Soot accelerates DPF clogging: This soot clogs the DPF. If you delete only DPF but keep EGR, the engine still produces soot, causing frequent clogging or regeneration triggers.
• Logical closed loop: EGR creates soot, DPF filters it. To eliminate both issues, you must delete both.
