The factory EGR system sends hot exhaust gases back into the intake. Over time, this may cause soot buildup, restricted airflow, higher under-hood heat, and repeated EGR-related maintenance.
For off-road, racing, and competition builds, an EGR delete kit helps simplify the engine bay and support cleaner airflow.
ECU tuning is required after installing this EGR delete kit. Without a proper tune, the truck may still look for removed EGR components, causing check engine lights, diagnostic codes, or limp mode.
