What Is a 5 Inch Turbo-Back Exhaust Essentially?

The original exhaust path is approximately:

Turbo → Factory Downpipe/Front Pipe → DOC → DPF → DEF Injection/Mixing Section → SCR → Rear Piping/Muffler Structure → Tailpipe

After installing a 5-inch Turbo-Back system, it becomes:

Turbo → 5" Front/Downpipe → 5" Straight Mid-Pipes → 5" Rear Pipe → 5" Tailpipe

This means that a standard "Turbo-Back" DPF delete pipe, which starts behind the turbo, completely replaces the entire section of the factory exhaust system from the turbo outlet all the way to the rear of the vehicle. It primarily removes the following factory exhaust aftertreatment components:
