This EGR delete kit is designed for 2010–2024 trucks equipped with the 6.7L Cummins diesel engine, primarily Dodge Ram 2500 and Ram 3500 models.

Many standard 6.7 Cummins EGR delete kits only block off the EGR cooler system while retaining the factory electronic throttle valve. With long-term use, the remaining valve can still accumulate carbon, stick and cause delayed engine response.
This kit integrates a complete 6.7 Cummins throttle valve delete design, blocking the EGR cooler and removing the intake throttle valve assembly in one installation. The direct-flow intake design is suitable for trucks used for heavy towing, off-road driving, farm work and other long-term, high-load applications.
One package blocks the EGR cooling circuit and removes the throttle valve assembly at the same time, eliminating two common failure points: EGR leakage and throttle valve sticking. There is no need to perform two separate modifications, helping save both installation labor and additional parts costs.
Removing the throttle butterfly allows intake air to flow without obstruction. Turbo response improves by 0.3 seconds, delivering smoother and more linear power during towing and heavy-load acceleration.
Tested fuel efficiency improves by 4.76%, potentially saving more than $4,000 in diesel expenses over 300,000 miles.
After removing the high-temperature EGR circuit, temperature around the original EGR area decreases by 36°F (20°C), while overall engine-bay temperature decreases by 12.6°F (7°C).

Many truck owners only block off the EGR system and overlook the risks associated with the factory electronic throttle valve. Even after EGR flow is disabled, the throttle valve can still accumulate carbon, stick, trigger diagnostic trouble codes and restrict intake airflow.
A version with throttle valve delete hardware may cost slightly more, but it removes another common carbon-buildup and failure point and avoids the need for a second modification later.
Compatible ECU calibration is required even when the kit includes throttle valve delete hardware. Installing the hardware without the correct ECU program may trigger fault codes, reduced-power operation or limp mode within a short driving distance.
Do not discard the removed EGR cooler, EGR valve or throttle valve assembly. These components may be needed to restore the truck to its factory configuration for resale, inspection or future servicing, and original replacement parts can be expensive.
